Thanks pieterix. That was very quick! It seems to work well apart from one thing: I noticed that there are lots of duplicates in the list of finds that is produced by the checker. I tested the checker using one of my friends' stats and there were 135 caches listed, most of which were duplicated within the list, whereas the total number of qualifying finds was 65 (which is the correct number,by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there checker maker volunteers, I'd like to request a checker for the following criteria: The challenge is to get a 100 or more caches whose D+T is exactly 7.5. In the DT grid, the six squares that count are: 5.0/2.5, 4.5/3.0, 4.0/3.5, 3.5/4.0, 3.0/4.5, and 2.5/5.0. To qualify for this challenge, there must be at least four cache types. In my case, I have found traditionals, puzzles,by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That was speedy, sumbloke! Thanks heaps. That checker seems to work fine. I've tested it against lots of cachers in my area, and a lot of them have fulfilled the challenge. I will remove the bit about "caches must be active when found" so that the reviewer will be happy. FYI, I hope to produce versions 2, 3 and 4 of this, once I have deployed the caches. But I want to see what thby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi challenge checker creators, I would like you to create a challenge checker for me, please. To meet this challenge, cachers need to find at least 25 caches, of at least 3 types (e.g. traditional, multi and puzzle), in the southeast corner of the DT grid. What do I mean by SE corner of the DT grid? The DT stars (both difficulty and terrain) for a cache have to add to at least 8. So a 4.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That's great! Thank you. I've run several names of cachers (whose stats I know reasonably well) through the checker and I got the expected results. I appreciate the quick turnaround on this.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I neglected to make clear that the caches for this challenge can be from anywhere in the world.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Project-GC challenge checker creators, I just created GC74ZX6 - "5000 stars multis and mysteries challenge" I have been working towards the following challenge for many months, and I now qualify. I would like to challenge other geocachers to achieve the same feat. Are you able to write a checker that does the following: Add up the difficulty and terrain stars for a cacher'by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi vogelbird, That output looks great! Thanks for the prompt response. Let's hope the reviewer lets this one get publsihed! Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi makers of challenge checkers, I have created GC6ZX3Q - 4x4x4 challenge, and I was hoping that someone could assist me with creating the checker. The challenge is thus: Fill all squares in the D/T grid from 1-4 in both the D direction and the T direction, at least four times. That's 49 squares with a value of at least 4 in it, therefore a minimum of 196 caches are required. Any cacheby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Got it. Thanks. I used the recommended one with the image. Looks good on the cache page.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Wow! That was quick! Thanks to both of you for the rapid response. I like the look of the output from http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6X3NX/23696, because it gives me a 9x9 grid where I can easily see what I'm missing. So I would like to use that one. But... It turns out that I'm one cache short of my own challenge after all. I don't know if I miscounted or if someone has chaby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there, I'm interested in creating a challenge cache, and I was hoping someone associated with project-gc would be able to assist me. The challenge is to fill 63 of the 81 cells in the difficulty/terrain grid with caches only of the unknown type (also known as mystery caches or puzzle caches). The 63 cells can be any of the 81 possible cells. There just have to be at least 63 different cby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
