It works as expected for me.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi vogelbird, I've tested it using half a dozen names of local geocachers and cross-checked with their statistics. The checker appears to work as expected. Thank you once again. Regards, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Project-GC challenge checker folks, I would like to ask for the following checker: Using only finds of earth caches, fill at least 33 cells in the D/T grid. AND Find at least one earth cache for every terrain column (from 1.0 to 5.0 - nine columns in total). Caches from anywhere in the world count towards this challenge. Regards, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I just submitted this. Hoping that the local reviewer is happy with it. Feel free to move this to the Archived thread if you want. Thanksby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hey vogelbird, I checked the checker and it appears to work as expected. Thanks for the prompt response. Regards, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
High Project-GC challenge checker volunteers, Please take the numbers from the checker for GC7FPMF and use them for this challenge - GCA71Z8. Specifically, please increase the numbers for each 'node' on the snowflake as follows: Letterbox hybrids to 120. D5s to 50. 250 days to 360. CITOs to 40. Regulars to 900. Earthcaches to 90. 5/5s to 8. Unknowns to 900. Smalls to 1500.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Hügh, This checker is also working as expected. Home runs on three requests out of three! Thanks, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Hügh, This checker is working as expected also. Thanks for your quick response on this one. Regards, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Hügh, I've checked it using the names of several people and it appears to work perfectly. Thank you for the prompt response. Regards, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Project-GC reviewers, I would like to request a triple D/T loop challenge. That is, three loops of the fizzy grid. Caches from anywhere in the world count. GC code is GCA71XX. Thanks, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Project-GC challenge volunteers, I would like to make a request for a checker with the following criteria: 1111 unknown caches found Only caches in Australia count towards this challenge. Thanks, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Project-GC challenge volunteers, I would like to make a request for an earthcache challenge with the following criteria: At least two earthcaches per month (over the course of someone's caching career) At least one month with at least 20 earth caches found during that month (over the course of someone's caching career) Earthcaches anywhere in the world are acceptable for this chaby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks vogelbird! I think the reviewer will let it through now as several more people pass.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The checker works fine. Unfortunately 4000 is too high. The reviewer wants at least 10 people in the area to qualify, but only 5 people here passed the checker. Please reduce the number from 4000 to 3600. Thanks, by the way, vogelbird.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Oof! Davidwazza, that's a hard one!by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hey, I provided some feedback a few days ago but this one is still tagged as 'Awaiting Feedback'. See my previous post for updated qualification criteria. Thanks, Maxby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The local reviewer has two major issues with it. I was trying for something challenging but doable here, but I have missed the mark it seems. I have an idea for another challenge that is somewhat similar and might be acceptable to a reviewer: Criterion: 4000 finds of caches with a difficulty of 3 or more, or terrain of 3 or more, or both. Basically disregard the top left 4x4 sub-grid of the Dby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Okay. I will do something else with that geocache. We don't have enough 5/5s in my area so I might make one of those.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Hi Hugh, that looks great. Thank you for the quick response.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Oh no. I assumed that because GC6MF8R got published (and the other similar challenges by the same hider), that my challenge would be okay too. I must say that whoever wrote "Requiring more than one find on any day or calendar date, even if cumulative" seems to be limiting all challenges to 366 caches only. Very strange wording. And of course a lot of challenges require a lot more thatby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Okay. I have asked the local reviewer for pre-approval.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi Hugh, yes, fair assumption regarding 'the do-able seven' types. I'm happy with that. The checker seems to be working well. I like how the output includes the grid underneath so that people can easily see gaps that they can fill. I noticed one tiny thing: The Australian Capital Territory appears twice in the grid part of the output, and the second time it appears it should beby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi challenge checker experts, I want to pay tribute to the person who came up with the idea for GC6MF8R by copying their challenge. Criteria: Fill at least 111 geocaching days in the calendar with 5 different cache types per day. These caches can be found in different years. I think I'm on 100 at the moment, but will get the remaining 11 soon. Thanks.by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Hello again, I would like to ask for another challenge checker please. Criterion: Taking a geocacher's top 4500 caches (top in this context referring to the difficulty and terrain, the higher the better), the average D and the average T both need to be above 3.0. Note that it doesn't matter if, for example, a cacher has found 50000 caches and their average D is 1.75 and their averageby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi challenge checker gurus, could you please make another challenge checker for me? GC code = GC9ZV6E Here are the conditions: A full DT loop for at least three different Australian states or territories. E.g. one DT loop in NSW, one DT loop in the ACT, and one DT loop in South Australia. AND A full DT loop for at list three different types. E.g. a full DT loop of the traditional grid, a fby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hey vogelbird, I tested that with several names of local geocachers and it gave me the expected results. So it works exactly as I expected. Thank you very much for the prompt response. Regards, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello challenge checker makers, This challenge is inspired by GC770YZ - 55/110 Calendar Challenge. In fact it is a very similar challenge, with the difference being that this challenge has higher numbers. To meet this challenge, people need to find a total of at least 100 caches for every calendar day number (day 1 to day 31 across the 12 months) and at least 250 caches for every calendar monthby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sounds like a challenging challenge, dahumbug. I hope you can get it past the local reviewer. Bet you you'll have to lower the number of loops to 10 or lower. Cheers, ZQXby ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hello again vogelbird, This checker also works as expected. Thanks again for the quick turn-around on these requests. Regards, Max (ZQX)by ZQX - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
