I reas the original requirements wrong and changed to geocoin. It is now trackables. There was an error in the finds code and i have send a patch to the owner All should work soon And it it not "trackables moved" it is "trackables moved/discovered". There is no easy access to tell the difference in the gc.com APIby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I have often used the this sorting iterator instead of Pairs and IPairs. I have use the one described at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15706270/sort-a-table-in-lua You have to add function for the sorting. Often adding a lambda function is appropriate. Example with finds as it is in the example checker. It show sorting by the key and by the value. I think those two examples will give enby Target. - Script development
I have a list with tools implemented in the checker system http://project-gc.com/forum/read?9,109,109#msg-109 If you what a new tool implemented or have created one please post it here.by Target. - Miscellaneous
The checker system can be used to implement tools that are not checkers. They often have "(not a checker)" in the script name This is a list of the one i found. Som might have been missed. If you have a request for a new tool or you have create one etc please post it in the following thread http://project-gc.com/forum/read?9,110,110#msg-110 Type alphabet (not a checker)(by piby Target. - Miscellaneous
Yes it was possible and is fixed.. I was my mistake that read criteria incorrect. By the way tagging with two checkers that looks for different things is not appropriate. They will be run in an undefined order in the background. If you fulfill one criteria what is on the pgc maps can be incorrect.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
1 and 2 is possible to check but 3 cant be done with the checker API. I would guess that 3 was not ok according to the old guidelines. There is no mention of travelbugs/geocoing but my guess is that rule 7 applies to them to "7. Challenge caches may not require the publication or ownership of a geocache or waymark as a challenge criteria; challenge caches must be achievable by those who doby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
There is a big difference and that is that pgc has border polygon for counties and they are pre calculated for the caches. For the "Berkshire County Town Challenge" there has to be polygons for the cities and towns. Do they exist on open street maps? If they do are they correct? Else they have to be created. Then they can be extracted and used in the polygons checker. I have neverby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You missed the link to the cache GC3N1MH One rule is "The difficulty ratings are taken from the day the cache was found by you. Found logs edited after this cache was published are not counted in. This cache can not be one of the caches used in the challenge" This is impossible to check for. There is nog history of DT for a cache that the checker can look at. I have never seen aby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
There no option for that .You have to ask the script writer for a change. One problem if it is an option is that the data is in integer meters in the database and there will be rounding errors in the output. By the way the foot has been defined as 0.3048 meters since 1959.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
But how fast is the badges generated? can it take 7 days for them to be generated?by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You don't register with project-gc but login with your gc.com account. Then pgc knows you home coordinates if a am not mistaken. And you have to wait for the stats to be generated. it is done every 7 day for non paying members. I have no idea if a first login will trigger a regeneration of stats. You might have to wait 7 days for an update. It is probably easier to look at their gc.com sby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
A script is created and the challenges tagged http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC4V3E8/20273 http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC4R8HM/20274 http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5Q7T4/20276 It has som limitations because it uses the badegen badges data from the "The Long-Distance Cacher" badge The accuracy of the distances are in integer km So to not hide rounding errors the checkeby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Created. The challenge name will be there when the cache is published http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6HDC8/20270by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The script will work but is has to be tagged with the gccode and the correct parameters. Post the gc code and i will add the tag immediately. If you have not created the cache on gc.com create it and dont submit it for review and post the gc code hereby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The script will work Bur the gccode has to be added and the parameters has to be changed. Post the gccode and i will tag it for you. I guess that don't have access to do it yourself. If you have not created the cache on gc.com create it but dont submit it for review. And post the gc code hereby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Post the gc code and i will tag the challenge. I found one with 100,000 feet on 8 caches when i looked at the checker http://coord.info/GC1TZK6by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The checker is possible with the value from the "The Long-Distance Cacher" badge. It is the distance in km to your most distant find. That value is the only distance from home data that the checkers can access. I can think of a way to make it possible for a CO to "validate" the result ie that the pgc checker says that the cacher meets the requirement. I think that it isby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes it can be done and it is the only case with distance from home because it can be found from the badges. But i dont think a script that looks for it exist at the moment.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
They are not in the gc.com stats. I have 44 cache missing from my countries. 41 are labs and 3 are locationless virtuals. There is no county information in the lab GPX and you dont set it in the labs builder. But it can be created from the coordinates and the regions polygons you uses. But they are included in findstatgen3 if you add them to the gsak database and set country.by Target. - Checker news
The information i mentioned above exist for lab caches. I looked at the GPX file you download for lab caches. The log time with hundreds of a second are in the XML file with stats you can download if you own lab caches. It also has the number of logs or TotalCompletions as it is called. But what you get is depending on what groundspeak does. Latitude and longitude is almost necessary when mby Target. - Checker news
yes #1 will break many checkers #3 is the most useful one when is is easy to integrate in old scripts. #2 would be nice to have and easy to do when it is #3 with only labs and only existing fields set. Just adding #2 will likely slowdown addition of labs to checkers when #3 cant be that hard to code amd the same merge code will likely be needed when profile stats are generated. Handling nullby Target. - Checker news
It cant be done with the current checker API. There is no way to find out who has logg the cache the same day. If i could i would not be a checker linked to the challenge because i suspect the false positive rate will be high. If it worked like you you said the out data would include a lot of incorrect data. Caches logged ner events will have many finds the same day and most you did not fby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Yes that is true. You have to create one polygon for each side of the road. My guess is it will be easiest of you extend the polygons so the other border is a more then 10 miles from the road when is loops to close the polygon to a loop. I would draw it with a few as possible lines that is always more then 10 miles but less then perhaps 30 miles. I would ask the CO if the polygon is acceptable fby Target. - Miscellaneous
Correct name of types ans sizes are needed in checkers, This is a post to have the condensed and formatted to useful Json syntax to be easy used in checker tags List of sizes "sizes":[ "Small", "Not chosen", "Regular", "Other", "Virtual", "Micro", "Large" ] "types":[ "Traditional Cache&by Target. - Documentation
