My initial request was to exclude Feb 29th from being mandatory for both calendars but that's because I assumed Feb 29th is not allowed in any challenges. I thought that only "true" 365 days challenges were allowed according to the new rules but I've learned something interesting since then. According to the official challenge rules listed on GC.com, it says only finds on Feby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for making the adjustments. :-) I've tested and it looks like it's working much better now. I miss the months on the side but I can live with it. I'm happy with the look of the grids otherwise. :-) Is it possible to add the word 'Calendar' to the title of the 2nd grid or remove it from the first so that it's consistent? Could you also please confirmby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
This feels sort of like a eyeglasses test. ;-) Yes, the 2nd checker is better than the first. :-) The headers/titles help explain what each grid is for. So is there no way to reuse this checker and/or its output then? https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8ZME1/59054 It does have the months listed in the first column and I was thinking all you have to do is adjust it to search for 365 days iby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks for the fast turnaround but I'm not getting the results I expected from the checker. Something's off but I'm not sure what it is. Does the checker filter for just traditional type of caches? Also is it possible for the output to have the names of the months in the first column of the table, instead of just numbers? Thanks.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi again - could I get a checker built for a challenge based on 2 completed calendar grids filled in with only traditional caches (found date and hidden date)? In other words, to qualify for this challenge, a cacher needs to find at least one traditional cache on all 365 days of the year. And the cacher also needs to have another month-day calendar grid completed filled in only by the hiddenby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for doing that so quickly. :-) I've tested and verified everything is good. In fact, the checker has been added to the cache and the cache was just published. Talk about a super fast turnaround by the reviewer today. Thanks for all your help and all the information about attributes. I'm stumped about which potentially upcoming attribute vogelbird is referring to so I&by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thanks for adjusting the checker output and both of the very informative replies. Checker works as designed and output looks great, assuming all the nonexistent negative attributes get removed. I fear it may be confusing to some people if they are not removed; I can see someone out there trying to find those attributes otherwise. :-b Please let me know when they are removed and I'll retby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Tested and checker works perfectly. Output looks great too. Is there any way for the output to show which attributes a cacher is missing if they fail the challenge though? Also, is there a definitive list of attributes out there? I was doing some more research and it appears to be some discrepancies out there. eg. GSAK has a couple of other attributes that Project-GC doesn't have, andby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi again, Could I please have a checker built that verifies if a cacher has found a minimum of 5 of every attribute (positive and negative) except for the "Needs Maintenance," "Lost and Found," and "Partnership" ones? As far as I know, there are the only 3 "gotcha" attributes (ie. ones with extra "baggage"). If there are any others I shouldby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

Hi there - Could this checker https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9D25D/61843 be updated to use 750, instead of 500 as the required number to meet the challenge? I haven't published the cache yet so there shouldn't be any impact. Thanks.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for creating the checker. Tested and seems to be working as requested. :-) However I screwed up (I'm really sorry :-( ) and mixed up the 'not working sections' in my request. I actually liked the script output part of the other checker from GC9H34X (it was just the example log part that had the cut off problem). If it's not too much trouble, could this new chby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - Could I please get a checker cloned and edited for this GCcode GC9H34X? The challenge is to find 10 finds/caches of 10 different cache types. For the most part, the checker can probably be cloned from this now archived challenge - GC8F6E0 however I'm hoping my checker can be verified or edited to make sure it also has these other caveats/rules - a) benchmarks and lab cachesby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That's awesome! That's pretty much exactly the information I'm looking for. I didn't know those kinds of stats were available on Project-GC and so customizable. Thank you! I wish the data could be exportable in some way but I'm not complaining; I'll take what I can get. :-) Thank you for your help. Hi there - I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I thought I'd start here. Please feel free to forward this to the right forum if necessary. Is there any way to get a script written, that is not for a challenge? I asked Groundspeak and they referred me to you (Project-GC). I'm trying to get some data (a list of finders for a bunch of my caches) for another cache of miby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)

These 4 checkers were just built and they were working fine. However all of a sudden now, I just ran them again, and the output is no longer in a pretty table. Did something change? Could this please be fixed? hiddenyear/hiddenmonth/size - https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9D25D/61843 hiddenyear/hiddenmonth/type - https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC9D25A/61842 difficulty/terrain/type -by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
My checker run "count" has reset and I have now tested all 4 of the checkers. Everything looks great and mirrors my own manual calculations so I think they are good to go. Thank you very much. :-) Please close this request as completed.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I'm not sure what changed but the checker for the hiddenyear/hiddenmonth/type challenge suddenty matches the number that I have now so that's good. Thank you. Unfortunately though, I ran out of "checker run" credits for the day so I can't test anything else for now. I'll follow up in a bit and do some more testing then but I'm pretty optimistic right now.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for the fast turnaround! I thought it would be a lot more work. That's great! And they look like as I imagined. Thank you. And I love that the icons link to the actual qualifying cache too. That's a great "above and beyond" value-add. :-) As requested, here are the missing GC codes for the other 2 challenges - difficulty/terrain/size - GC9CEQ0 hiddenyear/by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you for replying. Yes, essentially 4 challenges, however the difficulty/terrain/type checker has probably already been written - GC8FAFD or GC8G04H. I suspect it just needs to modified to remove the cacher's own caches however. The no events restriction is just for the last 2 challenges - hiddenyear/hiddenmonth/type hiddenyear/hiddenmonth/size Other than that, I think thatby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi there - I'm just following up to see if there's been any progress on the new scripts/checkers or if you need any more information from me. Please let me know if there are any updates. Thank you, sapien.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That's great news if GC8FAFD accepts all those cache types then. As far as I can tell, the only ones missing are adventure labs and benchmarks which is perfect for me. Is there a way to modify that script to not count a cachers' own caches that they've logged? If so, please associate/apply that new script to GC8ZZVH and that one is good to go, except of course that I don'tby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Hi again. I REALLY over-simplified what this request is by calling it a Jasmer x Size challenge so let me explain what I'm trying to accomplish here. I pre-apologize for how long-winded my explanation is going to be. I'm planning to put together a series of 4 challenges, all inspired by GC8FAFD (or GC8G04H, it's the same challenge, just cloned elsewhere, I think). Hi there, I was wondering if a challenge checker could be built for GC9D25G. To qualify for the challenge, people need to have found at least 222 caches with the horseback rider/horse attribute and at least 222 caches with the livestock/cow attribute. The same caches can be "re-used" for both attributes (ie. it's ok if a cache has both attributes) and the cache can be counted forby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Thank you. It looks good. It didn't seem to change anything for me but that's probably a good thing. I've tested again on a few other people and it looks like it's good to go. Thanks for all your help. :-) Please feel free to mark this request as completed/resolved.by sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Tested and it looks and works great! Do you know how the checker handles caches that were logged multiple times though? We had 3 travelling caches in our local area that people used to log multiple times (on multiple days). I'm hoping the checker only counts them once but I just wanted to make sure, or at least know how the checker handles them so that I can document it in the challengeby sapien - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
