Re: GC6QDBZ Easy 6 months streak challenge

I would like to request a new checker for an unpublished challenge cache.

The checker needs to verify if the cacher has found as many caches as there are days in a month for 6 months period.

The challenge is similar as the x finds per month -challenges, but since the new rules do not allow more than 1 cache found a day the old checkers for those might not work.

So for example if cacher has started on January there has to be:
31 finds in January
28 finds in February
30 finds in March
31 finds in April
30 finds in May
31 finds in June.

Find counts are minimum of the number of days in the month.
The cache finds do not need to be a streak.
The months need to be "as a streak".
The finds do not have to be on the same year.

Leapday is excluded.
There are 12 periods and if one period is ok the cacher passes the checker

What is the state of this? It seems to languish but the reply does not show in the count.

The checker is okay but the cache is still in progress.

I have finally found a place for the cache and have been going through the cache description and this checker. I think I made an error when specifying about the checker (based on the output).

At the moment the checker seems to be looking at the find counts without the year information.
The months when the caches have been found need to be in a streak (with the year information) but the caches do not need to be as a streak.
So a 6 months time frame when the person has found 181-184 caches (depending on the months).

For example person has found
74 caches in November 2014
6 caches in December 2014
24 caches in January 2015
6 caches in February 2015
30 caches in March 2015
177 caches in April 2015
Overall 257 caches in 6 months.

I sorry that I did not interpretate your challenge correct.
I will remove the checker and place this request back in "Checker requests" and mark the topic as "New script required" in order that a scriptwriter will pick this up for a new script

Note that the current configuration requires you to also find the minimum number of caches for each month, eg. 31 in January, 28 in February, etc. If that's not what you want, I can reconfigure it to drop that requirement.

Please test and let me know if this is what you want.

What is the situation with this checker, is the challenge going to be published or can it be cancelled?
