PGCPoints

PGC Points was a system where a user was awarded points based on their activity at Project-GC. The points resulted in a top list and depending on the placement on said top list the user was awarded a PGC-badge of a different color in their Profile Stats.

The badge requirements can be seen in the table below. Points were awarded for things like creating scripts for challenge checkers, using the Statbars, having a paid membership, using Profile Stats in the users profile at Geocaching.com etc. The function was removed in 2021 since the system caused too many issues, including countering cheaters and other abuse.
