Darn, when did that rule get added. Jan 2018 obviously! Oh well. Pls archive my request.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The challenge is to find 10 caches of any type on each calendar day. Exactly like this challenge: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3TH5K/402 EXCEPT I am not requiring any finds on Feb 29. I do not qualify yet, but expect to very soon.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Both the old and the new, revised checker for https://coord.info/GC4A25F are showing on the right side of the cache page. Can the old one be removed? The old one is: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC4A25F/19545by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
thank you so much. I will remove my requirement #7 also then to match what the other challenge has. I doubt it really mattered a lot, if at all.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
can you replace my checker with this checker? GC5F2HD/7477 (Got Duplicate Cache Names?) With this checker, Capitalization does not matter. (deer trail matches Deer Trail). I will just remove my requirement #6 which states that special characters in the names can be ignored, and then my challenge will match the challenge requirements of this challenge cache. Thanks.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I am still waiting to hear back on this. Can it be fixed? Or not.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It tests good. Can you please then substitute this checker for the existing one. Thxby DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I'm surprised you can't fix this. simply change all alphabetic characters to upper case before comparing. Simple. But it you can't, then yes change the checker so that long list is remove, and add that note and I will add something to the cache text directing them to try the GSAK macro if the Checker tells them they don't qualify.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK, turns out that there is a problem with the checker. rilekyle does qualify for the challenge but the checker is not counting cache name "002" Giant. according to the challenge Special characters at the beginning of the cache name are ignored. so that leading apostrophe in the cache name should be ignored and this cache should count as a cache name beginning with 0.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK, ignore this request. It was me, typing in the wrong user name. Delete/Archive my request.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3MH9W/1898 The checker just gives an error when executed for user "rilekile". I don't known why and what is different for this user? Can this be investigated?by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC4A25F/19545 the challenge is to find 10 pairs of caches with the same name. Alphanumeric characters should be case insensitive. e.g. "deer trail" should match "Deer Trail". But the checker is not treating uppercase and lower case letters the same. iceberrrrg is a good cacher to test for. He qualifies for this challenge per the GSAKby DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK, will try,by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes, it just worked for me now. don't know why it timed out last night. This checker is better because the successful counties stand out better so it's easier to see. Can you just modify the checker ? Because the change is strictly cosmetic.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I tried that new test checker and it just times out. So not good. But that's ok. I will just stick with the old checker and keep track manually with the state capitals I have found. The checker does tell you just not in a clean format. You can just close my request. Thanks.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
should i just cancel this request?by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
checker is: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC7JQFT/33141 Can the checker be improved to display the total number of capitals found? Such as "You have found caches in xx of the 50 state capital counties." and then display the counties you have finds in first, followed by those you have found 0.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I suspect the CO has not replied. Now what? Leave the challenge checker as is I suppose.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Ok. She just told me she would take care of it. You can cancel my request. Thanks.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
https://coord.info/GC7T8PK - Virtually Gone Challenge this challenge requires finding at least one virtual cache in 15 different states. I currently have 14 but it says I qualify because it is only checking for 10 states. This is the checker that the cache is using. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC7T8PK/35994by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
FYI, in case you can make the change, a similar change was just made on one of the CO's challenges a few weeks ago. https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC77K3K/27165 . I would assume you can look here to see what was done technically.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The CO does not reply. At least not to me and not to you project-gc guys on a similar issue with one other checker.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The challenge checker is: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC77M6Z/27176 The checker is not allowing countries outside the U.S. to count as valid regions. In the cache description he shows an example using Denmark to satisfy the multi-cache icon. So countries should count as well as U.S. States. In my case (DrPflug) the checker shows me with distinct icons in 9 regions, but I have foundby DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
that is what he wrote in the log too. so sounds like your change worked.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Try using Czechsun as a test. He didn't qualify with just U.S. States, but he manually used two countries for 7 and 6 icons and qualified.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
can the script be changed to handle, too? Or is that possible due to some technical limitation with project-gc or the data ? This is not a big deal since I can figure this out manually, but it might be nice for future finders trying to meet this challenge.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here is a link to the checker: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC77K3K/27165by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The Challenge GC77K3K states "You need to find 10 different cache types in one state or country, 9 different cache types in a different state or country, 8 different cache types in yet another state or country. Continue until you are down to 1 cache type in a unique state or country." But the checker only counts icons in U.S. States but not other countries. For example, I have found 5by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
OK, thanks. I see now that all project-gc stats are not also Geocaching.com stats.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
This challenge requires you to have acquired 25 Gemstones on the Project-GC BadgeGen tab in your statistics. The gemstones are the four highest levels of the eight levels: Diamond, Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby.by DrPflug - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
