look at the Sorting table iterator in http://project-gc.com/forum/read?4,111 When you have copied the code for the iterator it is likely that you only need to change the Pairs or Ipairs with a spairs and add the compare function with the sorting you likeby Target. - Script development
No. There is not API function for the checkers to get a list of all caches based on elevation.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
There is a point above the not acceptable that you quoted. I thing and suspect voglebird also do that that is the problem QuoteTime-limited caching: as in some number of finds per day, week, month, or year. Example, Busy Day, 50 finds in a day, 500 finds in a month, etc. (new 2016 But feel free to send it to a reviewer without a checker to ask if it is ok. I am not sure that any checker canby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here you are http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6YTQG/24051 please check that it is correctby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The problem is that the old challenge used the names of the caches and that is not allowed with the new rulesby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
You cant do an identical. It is not allowed to require the log the challenge on a specific day. The checker is an old PHP checker and cant be tagged with a new challenge like the new lua challenges. I suspect the checker looks for any cache of the unknown type and not just caches with pussels. It might filter for challenges and bonus but it is har do detect if it is a bonus cache. I assumeby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
"Groundspeak HQ" is not a event type. Groundspeek group it as a mystery cache type "GPS Adventures Exhibit", is not groped at all but is separateby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
And for other challenges that just demands a lot of finds. I suspect most at possible in a year. There 16 people with mor then 20 000 find i a yeas and the top ist 34637 find in a year 119 have more then 10 000 finds in a year http://project-gc.com/Statistics/TopCachesYear?submit=Filter&chartpage=1by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That was the first one i found with the relevant text and the appeal for hidden date That challenge was for hidden dates but the there have been others with found date that have had the same problem It is not that unrealistically that a newbie starts with a 365 streak I almost did directly. Have 2 missing days the first month and then 11 days more the second because of sickness. I know Pellby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I now about it from request that have neede change http://project-gc.com/forum/read?11,4620,4848#msg-4848 The relevant text "Got no from the norwegians reviewers when 29 february are included. If that day was excluded they will publish the challenge." The thread induces an appeal for hidden date and that was ok if enough caches exist. So hidden on leap day is ok bu not finds onby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It can also be done with calendar month. But then the first->last day of a month is needed for it to count.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I you create the listing without sending them to the reviewer you get the GC code and can post it here. After you get a checker you have to add it to the listing and send it to the reviewer. The checker has to be individualized for the challenge and created before publicationby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Then i will show what you missed >10 points per 50 caches found on day with most finds, maximum of 40 points >2 points per distinct cache type on day with most distinct types found Both is 9. Time-Limited "Time-limited caching: as in some number of finds per day, week, month, or year. Example, Busy Day, 50 finds in a day, 500 finds in a month, etc. (new 2016)" >0.5 poinby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It is possible to do but i am not sure a script exist But I am not sure that it will be allowed. I would submit the challenge and ask if it is ok before a checker is added to reduce potential meaningless work. Please call it "hidden date" as that is the name on the cache page. Place date is only used when you edit the cache page if I am not misstakenby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
They are in the help center for the "Geocache Listing Requirements / Guidelines" that is linked to from the "Hide a Geocache" webpage https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206 I assume you have read the since you have to check the box "I have read and agree to the Terms of Use Agreement and the Cache Listing Requirements Guidelines." when creaby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
On A the main fix is that demand that the CO and a number of other cachers meet the requirement fix problems with hard challenges Quotec) and d) There are only four criteria which cannot be calculated from the official geocaching.com public profile page: Different cache types in one day (the user could supply the data, though, and it would be verifiable through his finds list); FTFs (not recogby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You will Lilly have a problem with the leap-day requirement. Other challenges have require it to be optional so it don take 4 years to complete the challengeby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
My only argument is that is is against the guidelines and you likely cant do a challenge like the even with you own rules I like the belts and badges except the author badge. There is a reason i tried to publish one myself. Feel free to test with a reviewer but you will likely not get i published You could do something similar. Make a list of different requirement like the one for beltsby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Had a bug when the belt number was below 10 but it is not fix About the challenge. QuoteConcerning your feedback: I know that you mustn't purely rely on external software so I said in the listing text that users can also send me their geocaching.com stats and point out how they earned their 30 points. That's not a one click solution but shouldn't take too long either. It'by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That is not allowed You cant require fins in a day Guideline 9. Time-Limited Not Acceptable QuoteTime-limited caching: as in some number of finds per day, week, month, or year. Example, Busy Day, 50 finds in a day, 500 finds in a month, etc. (new 2016)by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
GC codes goes from the 6 char format you mentioned above to the current 7 char format in december 2006 GC codes cant be used but hidden date can be used. The big difference is that gc codes is harder to choser for then hidden date. The reason that GC codes, publishing reviwers etc is not allowed is that the challenge base on that often more a find the right cache on the webpage problem then finby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It means that what the text in the log cant be used in any way. I suspect the reason is that groundspeek don't like challenges with meaningless logs just for the challenge. That challenge would encourage a long meaningless log that it. That is also the reason i dislike the author badge. Long logs of primary copy&paste are meaningless. You challenge would alos have the problem withby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The way to do it is instead create a bonus cache with information needed in each cache in the seriesby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I don't think one exist I have one similar for connected states by the counties inside them http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5D8QZ/21555 I have planed for a long time to code one for only states for a challenge for me but i don't have time before the holidays to do any coding. I suspect you challenge is for the US. Else connection data for the country has to be generated. Datby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Unfortunately you are not allowed to use the cache title in a challenge 10. Source of Criteria Not Acceptable QuoteThese listing elements: cache titles, cache owner, GC Codes, publishing Reviewer or listing text. (new 2016)by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Cant be done since the checker does not hav access to the hint. It is unlikely that it will be added since you cant use it on After thinking it was trivial with most trails i reread the challenge and noticed the only one cache per series. That makes it impossible since there is no way to determine if two caches are in the same seriesby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I removed my incorrect then. Why not limit your to 100 per type if it is faster then? Tested the checkers on Alamogul that is likely the worst case scenario I testes runtime does not looks like it is dependent on numbers for finds per type when the number as as low as 5000 and 100. Most of the time is fetching the data from the database and they takes between 30 and 100 seconds I also did aby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Here you have an almost correct checker http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC6XDFX/23715 The only problem is that unknown is not a requirment. But i suspect that it is an irrelevant requirement To have 9 types it is likely that the first 8 is needed: "Traditional Cache", "Multi-cache", "Event Cache", "Earthcache", "Letterbox Hybrid", &by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I doubt that it will be allowed. You will punish a find on a non T5 before a T5 Guideline 14. Positive Challenge Criteria not allowed QuoteNot finding caches: design that limits or punishes any element of finding caches. Examples: Challenges that require ratios in finds; such as 10% of finds must be Attended logs, challenges that require finding only some particular type for over time, as 10by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
New script was needed but it was trivial to do http://project-gc.com/Challenges//23629by Target. - Miscellaneous
