I would first ask a reviewer it is not oblivious that it is allowed. I suspect it will not be But if it is allowed a checker i possible. I suspect that new code is neededby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Are you allowed to use a boomarklist? Is that not explicitly against the guidelines. I think my "Generic old caches in area checker" can do that. That is if the list of European countries are not to long. I suspect the what is Europe question is not relevant in this case. And the countries that can have the oldest cache with a resonable amounts of archives caches is not to long. Aby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No the checker has not access to external websites. It has only access some request to the database on pgc You can read it if you are interested at http://project-gc.com/doxygen/lua-sandbox/classPGC__LUA__Sandbox.html That will give all your finds and the numbers of cacher in an area You could do a checker that looks if you have found all virtual caches in Vermont. The problem is that i doubby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I suspect the "The challenge must be fulfilled in year 2016 and not previous years" will not be allowed if you read the guidlinesby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The bug is because finds hidden before 2000 I don't understand why groundspeek allow them in their database If Jakuje add after line 201 if year >= 2000 then and a appropriate end it will workby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Interesting interpretation of the guidelines. The only requirement of a checker functionality is according to http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=780 QuoteThe challenge checker must verify that a player does or does not qualify to log a challenge cache as found. There is nothing that say the output has to be anything else but a correct pass/fail.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
It is impossible. How do you determine the series part? "You must have a minimum of 100 traditional finds but you can only use three finds from any one series. A series is defined by either sharing a common name, theme or being numbered (My thanks to Amberel for raising the question)." That is impossible to do in code. And even for people to since not everyone would agree The &quoby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
My multiple test checker should be update. It is written so new test are trivially added by inserting a new function. The idea was first to create a template http://project-gc.com/Tools/Challenges?edit&scriptId=936 with extended get finds and other useful funnctions and a standard to incapsulata a checker in a function. And the publish it so other could use it and add test functions The pby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The changes to the scirpt has not been added by the owens. I posed a reminder today The checker that i hade the temporary date sould be http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5K791/20702 and not with the incorrect gc code. why should it be updated when it have not been published yet?by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The problem with the checker is that the result is pass or fail. If the list does not include all ok answer it will result in false negative. And you might se a fail on a pgc map from a autorun without knowing it is a false fail And you have not specified a language requirement. My finds with abborre (European perch) and lax (salmon) would be ok according to the rules in the listing but will fby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Feel free to ask your reviewer. I am almost sure it will not be allowed. I think a checker exist but it is irrelevant in this caseby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
An if you just want to know for an area there is a pgc function for that http://project-gc.com/Statistics/FavGainedby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
That checker that you linked to can only check for a singel month. It is usualy the case that specialised checkers give a nice output but have few option and generic have worse output but many options A rewrite is possible but it does not feel necessary since you can find that information easy in you "Finds by found date" profile stasby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Is it necessary? It is trivial to filter for that in lua. check if fp filter is set create a new table. loop over all find and add all caches with fp>10 to the table. set the old table to the new table. And the existing checker would be unaffected by that change.by Target. - Method requests
Why change the wording from a correct to an incorrect version? I would suggest that you add an explanation on the challenge page There is only one person that can change the script SeekerSupreme and I would suggest that you contact him directly The problem is that it is a problem with you need to find a combination with 3 different parameters should be unique. The number of combination veryby Target. - Miscellaneous
Only if you are a paying memberby Target. - Miscellaneous
Not to just complain but the checker does not check for the interpretation i wrote above You checks for a find each country and then for the types with only 2 in the countries and the rest anywhere. I get ok on all except the countries I have not visited. This challenge cant be done with my "Multiple test Checker" since all test are independent. It would have been easy if the nby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I think the checker is not what the CO asked for I read the request is one find in needed in each country and 8 different cache types has to be used. There part with "Virtual Cache: Russia" is an example with a qualifying log not a requirement of a Virtual Cache in Russia andre0707 have hidden his pgc stat from other users byt the one on gc.com only shows find in Germany and Russiby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Yes but are there any one created with the new guidelines? 10. Source of Criteria Not Acceptable QuoteThese listing elements: cache titles, cache owner, GC Codes, publishing Reviewer or listing text. (new 2016) I don't think it can be done without using the cache owner. I think there have been requewst with finds grouped by CO that were rejected by rewievers But feel fre to ask your rewiby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I suspect the only relevant cache is http://coord.info/GC45CC It might be possible to do a finds on UK virtual with D1.5 T2.5 http://coord.info/GCJ2YJ http://coord.info/GCBF57 And if size virtual is added only one of the is included. My simple found checker only counts finds not caches so if it is tagged like that you could require ex 10 finds on those parameter. I would try that andby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
It might be possible depending on the answer so: What is YOSM? It might be possible with allowed filter parameters.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
What is YOSM? I guess that it is a cache series. I suspect it wont be allowed because you can't use the cache name or gcode etc in challenges.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The only one that can remove them is the one that tagged the. See the checker. If you dont get any response contact the script author. It would have been easier if you had included the gc codes in the post. Why is permission form the CO needed to tag the challenge? Nothing is changed on you cache and the test are only done on public data. I would guss that checkers have been added withoutby Target. - Miscellaneous
A better question is if it is allowed The guideline that mentions streaks only refers to "a streak" it might be the case that multiple is not ok QuoteMaintaining a finds streak, at least one find per day, up to 365 days Please sent it to the reviewer and ask. And post the result here even if it is not allowed Alos I don't think any script can do thatby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
My mistake and fixedby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You have to contact the tagger in this case GentlePurpleRain linked from the checker to remove the old one I have created a checker for my own identical but in a region. Used it without the region limitation http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC277QD/22923 But contact the tagger for removal even when I have tagged a newby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I agree that the requirements are strangely written. That was the reason I asked if I interpret it correctly and the CO said a did. There is one strange thing in the checker. It asks for 5 of each type and 1 T5 of each type. Both tests are done independently. The T5 cache can be used both test. If it checked for 4 you could pass with only 4 finds if one was a T5 User has 4036 finds (5 needed)by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That is not the problem. You require the caches to own caches and that is not allowed because of another rule. And have been for a long time. 10. Source of Criteria - Not Acceptable QuoteRequiring cachers to own a cache.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
I suspect ther might be a problem with picture challenges QuoteChallenge cache criteria must be based upon caches with the seeker’s logs: Found it!, Attended, Webcam Photo Taken. QuoteChallenge cache criteria must be based upon the type of log, not on the log content. I don't think there is a checker for that so pleas ask a reviewer firstby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
