The attached picture does look like you've used an incorrect link though. You should probably double check that the link actually is https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAC015/80065 and not https://project-gc.com/Challenges/80065 or similar. An incorrect link might cause random issues.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
The question mark is because the cache is not published yet. The name-field will auto-populate shortly after the cache has been published and it can not be changed manually.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
Well Project-GC can't do anything about incorrect links at other sites. Swapping them would be stupid becaus then they would just be broken again when Geocaching HQ decides to fix the .by Pleu - Miscellaneous
You're linking images hosted at Geocaching.com, this feedback should be directed at them so they can fix it.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
@goldribbon If you go to the checker and click the button named "Link..." to the right you get a pop up with the different links to the checker, the third option contains the counter. On the checker page you also see the counter before the GCcode in the left corner of the checker.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
Since the info text says "Only geocaches with a confidence score of at least 35% will be be considered as an exception. Three homogeneous votes should be enough for that, while for example 3 up-votes and 1 down-vote won't." I don't understand how you come to the conclusion that 34 up-votes should equal 100%? If 3 up-votes and 0 down-votes equals 35% my conclusion is that the %by Pleu - Challenge checker exceptions
If you hoover on the number the tooltip shows how many votes there are of each kind. The 90%/+34 cache has 34 up-votes and 0 down-votes so it suggest 34 moderatos have voted on that. I would assume the 90% is because it was probably added as a "not a challenge" and I would guess it therefor starts of at a negative score. The "Challenge of the century" have 9 up-votes anby Pleu - Challenge checker exceptions
There's a list of them in the wiki but not all makers add theirs to the list: https://project-gc.com/w/Tools_in_the_checker_systemby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Per the guidelines it's not allowed to have a challenge checker for a non-challenge cache.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Seems in this post like it's corrected in code so I believe it's just the documentation: https://project-gc.com/forum/read?6,57187by Pleu - Script development
An easier solution for this is that you add the caches to a virtual GPS or a Bookmark list and use it as a filter with the MapCompare to check which caches people have found. Or that you just request that people send links to their found it logs if they want to get the coordinates for the bonus.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)

@Hügh and @bmuzzin I believe that "lost place" is the "abandoned building nearby". Commonly referred to as the "uraban exploration attribute" or the "lost place attribute" in some parts of the world.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
"Find one locationless" is not an allowed criteria since there aren't "plenty of caches" for that. I would suggest choosing something different before anybody spends any time on the checker.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The checker for the June-version is working exactly like the checker for the May-version as far as I can see. If the May-version is working correctly then the June-version is too. I think the issue here is just that the wording for people that don't fulfill the challenge is very general to work with all the different kinds of challenges this script can be used for. For this particular challeby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The GCcode you're referring too is a cache named "Everyday Alabama Challenge - June" it doesn't look like it's supposed to check for May? The cache linked on the cache page for GC3M0A5 ("Everyday Alabama Challenge - May") does check for May: https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC3M0A5/13964 To me this looks like a mixup of GCcodes and names/challenges.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I think you have a bug in the checker. My understanding of the challenge is that it has to be a streak, seven days in a row, with no days between the finds. If you run jtcoffee the result you get for her name is that her first day is 2012-03-10 and the second is 2019-05-14. After that it's an actual streak but that gap of over seven years in the beginning doesn't look right.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I've seen continent challenges that have the whole list of countries in the cache description, it's not uncommon (since it's an old rule).by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Most people just copy the definition from the checker for the cache page instead of creating a specific definition to use in the checker. The rule is not new.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
No. The closest thing is to look at other peoples challenge-tab and see what they have logged. You probably also want to know that the challenge difficulties will change over time and disappear after a while if the cache is archived so you probably don't want to spend too much time/money on trying to fill that grid. More info can be found here: https://project-gc.com/w/Challenge_difficulby Pleu - Miscellaneous
The title is added automatically shortly after the cache is published, the description is not necessary.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Sounds like you need to change to "source-mode", the button labeled "</> Source" should be green with white text, then you can copy/paste the code you have in this post in your cache description. Click the source-button again to get the other kind of editor.by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
None of this is possible. You can't check the stats of a checker and you can't reset it.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
For "your own awareness" you can use NeededFoundDates and don't need a checker. For example you have 360/366 days in Canada. https://project-gc.com/Tools/NeededFoundDates?profile_name=SouthLakers&country=Canada&submit=Filterby Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Regarding "learn how to build checkers" there is relevant information in the FAQ-section, for example: https://project-gc.com/Home/FAQ#49427817by Pleu - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
CO doesn't care to get this checker fixed I've already talked to him about what he would need to do (clarification: He's not against it, he's just not interested in taking the time to write a post in the forums or updated the cache page or anything like that), technically you should contact Target. but since he's not active anymore that wont help either. I believe thisby Pleu - Miscellaneous
Hey, look at us agreeing on something for once. ;) Since it only has two down-votes I would guess some people are still voting based on "does the cache follow the current guidelines" even though the information says that should not be relevant for the vote.by Pleu - Challenge checker exceptions
The "find checker"-search also searches the script and the tags. Searching for "Mystery streak" gives me lots of hits of caches that don't have the word "mystery" or "streak" in their name. I do want to mention that your example is not publishable under the current guidelines since you're not allowed to specify cache types during a streak.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
The guidelines are set by Geocaching HQ and are not something Project-GC has any say in. There are multiple souvenirs for things that you're not allowed to make a challenge for so I don't see what's different with the hiders souvenir.by Pleu - Miscellaneous
