Loops
After reaching Diamond status, the user enables the possibility for loops, for some Badges. Once the user has received twice the requirement for Diamond they will get a circle with number two in it in the top right corner. Some Badges are not possible to loop at all, some have a loop-limit of 9, and others 99.
Addons
When achieving the status of a Gembadge the user has unlocked the possibility of Addons. Several Badges can have mini-badges added to them, these are called Addons. For example, The Traditional Cacher will get a nice 366-addon added to it if the user has logged a Geocache of the type Traditional on every date of the calendar.
The original idea with Addons was that they were supposed to be something the user could work on after they had their Diamond. It was a concept aiming to please those who have been geocaching a lot, for a long time. The design was even to require a Diamond to show them. When Project-GC started detailing it out more and more it became clear that some Addons will be fairly easy and others more or less impossible. The original idea was definitely aiming more for impossible than easy though. It is not meant that everyone should get every Addon, and even more so, not within a year or two.
The following placeholder Badges shows the available Addons. Since some of them share locations, they can not be shown on a single Badge. No Badge can have all these Addons and the combinations shown below are not possible.
The available generic addons are: D/T 81 matrix, 366 calendar days, leap day, FTF, Giga event, Lost & Found (L&F) Attribute, Boat attribute, Old Virtual (2005 or earlier), CITO, Field Puzzle attribute, Partnership attribute, Mega event, Climbing attribute.
Additionally The Geocacher can hold six other addons: Community Celebration, Ape, HQ, HQ Celebration, Blockparty, Locationless. Community Celebration may also be applied to The Social Cacher.

Other addons
Country Badges have a unique All Counties addon, which is awarded for finding a cache in all counties of that country.
The Geocacher badge has six unique addons which apply to all levels, not just gemstones. These are Community Celebration, Ape, HQ, HQ Celebration, Blockparty, and Locationless.
The Event Host also has the Community Celebration addon.
Country Badges
These Badges are awarded for finding caches in a country. The quality of the badge is awarded based on the percentage of states/regions that the user has logged a cache in.
For more information, see: Country Badges
Belts
There is also a belt system. By finishing different tasks the user collects points. The total number of points awards the user with a certain belt.

History
BadgeGen was originally created and maintained by Kyle Mills, as a macro for GSAK. In the early days Project-GC had the license to make a similar implementation of it embedded in Project-GC. In year 2020, the ownership of BadgeGen was transferred to the owner of Project-GC. This was done since Kyle himself was not geocaching anymore, and both parts wished for the name of BadgeGen to live on. Alongside with the acquiring of the BadgeGen license the product went through a big overhaul, adding new badges, rebalancing, new features and a new badge design. The new design was created by Markus (clappy).
Kyle Mills maintained BadgeGen up until, and including, version 3.x. The new version owned by Project-GC became version 4, plain and simple.

Badge Statistics is not the complete statistics of all Geocachers, but these meta-statistics might give the user an idea of how achievable a gembadge or addon is.
