Clone the whole original script and added correct rounding. Contacted the original writer so he can change it so links on cache pages would remain correctby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The script was incorrect. A custom rounding function that was incorrect 1.996371920351 was rounded to 1.01 I cloned the script and added a bit of output. I removed all rounding Added your challenge to it but not the ther two that was the script writers. My change worked for my script but not for one of his https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC73236/29752by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
That is one of the reasons that groundspeek added challenge checkers as a requirement to challenges. It is quite easy to know that you meet the requirement if you set after you read the challenge but it is hard to know if you have done it in the past I would suggest a map based way to find out if it is meet the requirements. Finding lone cache fins are not that hard on a map. There is one uby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
It is impossible in the checker system since the scrips only have access to your own finds and not to all excising caches and therefor you cant know if a trad are near another physical cache that you have not found.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
You might have a problem to get it publish because the amount of existence wherigo and letterbox with size:not-choose is quite small 90, 143 globally and no new can be created with that size exist a better checker for almost the came challenge except for Not chosen ins not included and only 24 of the 25 sizes is needed https://project-gc.com//Challenges/GC5ERPZ/462 Is could easy be adaptedby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You can see all regions and counties on your profile stats if you have finds there or you can look at somone else state https://project-gc.com/ProfileStats/DjBricheta#Maps Another way is to use mapcomapre to show all caches in a region/county https://project-gc.com/Tools/MapCompare?profile_name=DjBricheta&country=Romania®ion=Cluj&nonefound=on&onefound=on&submit=Filby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The checker takes the oldes caches from the pgc database so there is no manual list to manage. The output will change a bit depending on who you run it on since older archived will be included if they are found. Non of the listed GC codes in you poss are among the 10 oldest on the database. If it is from a list on the cache page we cant see it before publication # gccode Visitdate Namby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You cant reset the counter. And even if you could the reviewer will likely test on you and perhaps others The cache type is called "Groundspeak Block Party" in GPX etc. They might have change the names on the website like on other types "Unknown Cache" is now called "Mystery Cache" but they have not change the name in the file format to keep compatibility withby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Fixedby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Fixed. You should always test challenges tags you create because "brief": true was "bief": true and the script by design if a unknown parameter is in the configby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You have missed to remove all event types and have removed the "GPS Adventures Exhibit" that are not a event type (Look at the grouping of found caches on someone that have a found). QuoteAny Event Cache (including Mega, Giga and CITO Events) can be logged online if the geocacher has attended the event. Event Cache owners can request that cachers sign a logbook, but this is optionalby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You should always read the challenge requirement for a legacy challenge. Most of the time there is som requirement that that is not included in the request.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
The guideline that result in average DT is not allowed is Quote14. Positive Challenge Criteria Not Acceptable Not finding caches: design that limits or punishes any element of finding caches. Examples: Challenges that require ratios in finds; such as 10% of finds must be Attended logs, challenges that require finding only some particular type for over time, as 100 consecutive Mystery finds.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I would suggest the you remove the year from the example since it looks like it is on a specific day and not on a day.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I would be surprised it that will be allowed to publish a similar today as you indicated Quote14. Positive Challenge Criteria Not Acceptable Not finding caches: design that limits or punishes any element of finding caches. Examples: Challenges that require ratios in finds; such as 10% of finds must be Attended logs, challenges that require finding only some particular type for over time, as 1by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Are you sure about that? If it generated a map then it had to be a old php checker that did the same thing since it is not possible for the new lua checkers to get access to non found caches. The code for the checker has not been change since 2016-06-13 19:59:21 UTC an the only line the add the url is: mappoly.url = "http://project-gc.com/" and the is just the same url for allby Target. - Miscellaneous
I dont think it have open up a map of the area in the past. I have rewritten that script and there is no code for opening maps of a ara. The map and popupcode are reused of the standard maps and I thing the links are automaticly generated like on popups with GC codes...by Target. - Miscellaneous
And the other way to because not all old challenges have challenge in the name. The best that could be done is all unknown caches with challenge in the name published before the date. But I would be surprise if it is allowed since using the name is explicitly not allowedby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The confusing part in 1 is that the geographical split on PGC is Country/Region/Counties and that would be Land/Fylke/Kommune in Norwegian terms. The confusing part is that Fylke is called Counties in English. Fylke will be refered to as Region and Kommune as Counties in pgc checker and in this post The problem of 2,3,4,6 and is that asking for that is not allowed The requirement and the speby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
And it will generate false positives for cacher who are from out of the area or have logged a series far away. I would as the CO of the challenge that is not the requester if a checker with false possitives is added because there will be logs on the output of the checker by people who don read caustions that result might have false result. I would recomend agains taggin checkers with false posby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
How are you going to implement requirement #3? Quote3. You cannot use more than one cache from a series of caches.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
http://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC72YD5/27792 Please checke that it is correctby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
You can use http://project-gc.com/Challenges//22287 to get the result Your score: 12631 (difficult) + 12979.5 (terrain) = 25610.5 It looks like in you post that you assume that we can see the unpublished challenge listing but we cant so you have to post the exact requirement. I assume that it the sum of the D and T values on all your finds.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
Maze or (GPS Adventures Exhibit that they are called) are not events in the grouped as events by groundspeek so they are not in the Events meta type. The types that are grouped as events are and GPS Adventures Exhibit has to be specifix added if it is intended to be there. "Event Cache" "Cache In Trash Out Event", "Lost and Found Event Cache", "Mega-Eventby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
I would ask a reviwer before I tried to create a challenge of login event on a number of dates regardless of year. I suspect that you have a problem because a challenge like that would encourage creation of meaningless event only for the challenge. It is a huge difference between logging event that are on a specific date then to log a cache that you can log on any day you please. Quote1) Evby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
If could be intrepid as punishing caches who only find alot of bad caches that don't deserve a FP. The intention with the guideline as I understand them is that finding another cache should not put you farther away from achieving a challenge. This challenge will demand that you give away a FP for every 10 finds. I like FP but not the idea to increase the chance that people give them aby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
The current DT matrix checker cant do that. I suspect that it is a trivial rewrite but I (creator of the DT matrix checker) will be on terrible internet connection for a few day but i could be fixed when I am backby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
What do you mean? At least I have no idea what " 1% >" would mean in regarding to attributesby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (impossible)
Yes then the existing script could be used and you have a checker immediately.by Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
It is not the same problem since the result depends on what pair of caches you use. I assume that each cache can only be used once. To find a single pair exprecially in a single day is easy because you can test each cache against all finds total or that day. The number of test will be max n^/2 if you have n finds and lower if you only look at finds the same day Your problem is harder sincby Target. - ARCHIVE Checker requests (completed)
